DAF Werkschar Cockade For Visor Cap, The Cockade is double maker marked with the Stylised “A” for Assmann, it is also marked under one of the retaining prongs RZM, and an unidentified number under the other retaining prong but it is quite possibly M1/17,

This Silver/Aluminium insignia would have been worn by the ranks of Werkscharmann up to the rank of Rottenführer in a Stoßtrupp, these were introduced in 1939 and were only worn on ceremonial occasions or on a walking out cap, Werkschar visors are rarely encountered making this cockade quite rare,
