Iron Cross 2nd Class 1939 (Eisernes Kreuz 1939 2.Klasse) a scarce variant of the standard Iron Cross 2nd Class, this is known by collectors as the “8″ Variant, due to the figure 8 from the 1813 date on the reverse of the cross, the upper part of the 8 is much smaller than the lower part (see images) comes complete with its original ribbon
